The services offered by BRCATESTUK to help you fight back against cancer and high cholesterol

30-gene Pan-Cancer Panel

The pan-cancer panel service analyses the 30 genes associated with the most common hereditary cancers: breast, colorectal, melanoma, ovarian, pancreatic, prostate, stomach, and uterine. These genes were carefully selected based on scientific studies showing strong association with risk of the most common types of hereditary cancer.

BRCA 1&2 Service

The BRCA 1&2 service tests for the two genes – BRCA1 and BRCA2 – which are known to increase the risk of developing common cancers like ovarian cancer and breast cancer.

The Hereditary High Cholesterol Test

Familial Hypercholesterolemia (FH) is a hereditary disorder that causes very high cholesterol. People with high cholesterol and FH are 22 times more likely to develop coronary heart disease than those with normal cholesterol and no FH.
